Nuisance Pests - Naturally, all pests are nuisances, but some of them are more or less harmless to you and to their environment. They usually donĂt specifically harm you, but their presence is frustrating and unpleasant. Even seemingly harmless pests such like flies, soil ants, odorous house ants, cockroaches, box elder bugs and many more, can be treated and controlled.
Harmful Pests - This type of pest can be harmful to you in many ways. Some of them, such as bed bugs, scorpions, fire-ants, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and spiders attack you and your pets through biting and feeding on blood. Other harmful pests are those that they carry diseases and contaminate and destroy food and clothing. This category of harmful pest includes cockroaches, moths, silverfish, rats, and mice.
Structural Pests - These pests can be quite dangerous and cause costly damage to buildings if not treated properly. Bugs such as carpenter ants, termites, and wood-boring beetles actually destroy the home you live in, by nesting and traveling in the wood that comprises your house. They are harmful specifically to integrity of structures such as apartment buildings, offices, homes and garages. Structural pests include insects such as carpenter ants, termites, wood-boring beetles, carpenter bees, as well as other pests like birds, snakes and rodents.
