IPM is an eco-friendly industry approach that focuses on pest prevention, education and targeted application of reduced-toxicity products. Our technicians use higher-quality products in smaller amounts, selectively applying them only where needed. We also constantly monitor our customers’ homes during service visits and alert them to conducive conditions that could attract pests. We firmly believe that being open and transparent about our pest control services is important in a time when "greenwashing" by new competitors riddles the landscape of the pest control industry. Founded in 1986 in Salem, Oregon, Alpha Ecological has carefully expanded its pest control service areas to include the metro areas of Portland, Salem, Eugene and Medford, OR; Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Longview, Spokane, Tri-Cities, Yakima & Walla Walla, WA.; Coeur D’Alene & Boise, ID; Denver, Aurora & Boulder, CO; Dallas, TX; and Phoenix, Tucson and Prescott, AZ.
To conserve resources and ensure consistent service quality, we operate centrally in Vancouver, Wash., while our expert, locally-based team leaders manage service technicians within their own hometown service areas. Our employees live, work and are personally invested in the neighborhoods they share with our customers. For example, the company is active in public environmental causes and has recently partnered with the Coastal Conservation Association as lifetime legacy members. The CCA supports sustainability initiatives such as promoting more responsible fishing practices to protect native Northwest salmon runs.
